The turkeys are certainly on the move....this is the activity i observed in the last 24 hours during my normal routine: *Yesterday morning I have a hen feeding in my back yard 30 foot from the house. *Yesterday evening I find her dust bowl in my back yard in between my leyland cypress trees and get another visit from her yesterday evening. *This morning I wake up to multiple gobblers sounding off in the distance. *15 mins into my drive to work i have a hen almost take out my windshield. *30 seconds after the hen encounter i am scanning some fields ahead and i look in front of me and see another hen in the road as a longbeard is hauling ass across the field after her. She gets out of the road and is replaced by him standing there proud as could be. I have to come to a complete stop until he decides he is going to get out of the road. *I had to run an errand shortly after i got into work and on my way back a white van which was in front of me nearly ran off the road trying to avoid 3 turkeys that were running and flying across the road.
All this activity in just a day! I hope tomorrow is just as exciting as the last 24 hours! Probably wont see a bird tomorrow:)

I'm not seeing any productive reports, what happened with the kids?! Out here in Iowa it's nice today and I heard 7 gobbles just on the close side of the farm. Starts tomorrow, but the forecast is rain, rain, cold and wind all week, maybe even snow by Friday.
