How many do the marsh this early ? I'm new to S. Dor. this being my 3rd full year . Been going over one or two times a week for the last six weeks .There has been a lot of changes in the last two weeks ,like the frag and a lot more movement . I hunt public so mostly just learning the marsh . Like last year the bugs are not bad at all ,well if you don't count the sheep flies.

Unless it's for work I try to stay out of the marshes this time of year. Between the bugs and thick foliage it's hardly worth the effort. Maybe if you need to learn a new area, but I do that stuff in Feb/March. They'll change patterns and movement so much by October I'm not even sure how much good hunting info you can get right now.

Like I said I am new to S. Dor. , I have been hunting them for awhile so I know what your saying about Oct. but I'm looking for old well used paths in the frag . I think it's easyer to see before the frag get's too thick . I've always hunted the beach and over there you find an old path with a few tracks , when the hunters show up so will more tracks on these older trails . Thinking it would be the same over there ?

I've gone over a little bit this time of year, but the skeeters are horrible.
