This was taken in the fall of 2002. The guy (Dave Dillon, PA)holding the bow shot this basket racked eight pointer the afternoon before and the four of us found it the next morning after the blood trail went dry. It was his first buck with a bow. Not bad for a four day New York hunt. Lets see some other frst deer photos!

My first deer was in 1999. A doe on the opening day of shotgun. I have pics but none scanned in. I got my first buck in 2002, during the opening day of shotgun. A four pointer that I couldn't have been more proud of. Man do I look young!

My first deer was a nice little spike. What made that first kill even better was that I was on the ground with my bow and he walked right up to me and smelled me!!!!!!!!!! I could have just put my arm out and grabbed him. When he noticed that I wasn't just a strange part of the tree I was leaning on he bolted, and as he took off I raised my bow and caught him just as he stopped to look back at me at 25yd.

No digitals of mine either. Not sure if they were even invented yet. The photo of me with my first was taken this summer - I didn't have a beard when I was 14!

The pic at the top was actually taken with a disposable camera. Last night was the first time I ever used my scanner. Pretty easy too. If anybody really wants to post an old pic, go to Wal-Mart, copy it, and mail me the copy. That goes for any thread.
