Well last Friday a group of 8 of us finally made it out to Howard County Game Farm to do a pheasant hunt. Talk about fun! They put 40 birds out for us and all total only 8 or 9 got away. We went in two groups on two separate sides of the farm and it was a blast. I didn't realize how those things can move. I also figured out, turn my safety off even if the shot is for the other guys...one lucky bird survived another day because of that one! We were out there for about 5 hours, and after walking in the sun through sorghum taller than me (no jokes fox), the dogs and everyone were done. Only half the birds are in the pic. the other group already had theirs cleaned. It was a great day to get out and knock 'em out of the sky. Too bad that place is closing down in December. They really do have a nice operation up there. Attachments:

Sounds like a great day, shame to hear they're closing.

yeah...it was awesome! The owner and his wife are divorcing, so that shut that down. :-(
