I have a guess and I'll explain in a couple of days after some of you comment. I have been told a variety of answers and opinions. I figured I'd ask the experts! How old is the bigger racked deer. Hoping maybe the video at a different angle might help!

A very nice buck, not a huge body or very big chest/roman nose and not being an expert on aging deer my best guess is this buck is a 2 1/2 to 3 year old buck.

I agree with Hunter. Characteristics of a younger deer. He's a stud

i'm gonna say almost mature... 2 1/2 to 3 years old.
Now Brett, if you want me to tell you for certain then I'm going to have to take the animal down and examine the jaw line for a more accurate answer. I would be happy to do this for you free of charge of course.. ;-) lol!

I'm no expert but I agree with the 2 1/2 year old assessment. He is definitely a nice one.

There was a buck on my trail cam last year that looked A LOT like this one! I am thinking he is the same one. With that said I am thinking he is 3 1/2 if the same one from last year. I'll try to find a pic of last years deer.
