I hope so. They are fun to catch early in the spring. Are you kidding? They are there year round and a lot of fun to catch. They are spawning right now so the bite will be a little slow but they will feed with abandon in a few weeks. 30-50 lbs are common place out there right now.

Good to know - I've never had much luck with the big ones other than Feb. thru April, but then again, I've never tried too much after then.

Thats alot of filets I wouldn't eat nothing that has been rooting around on the bottom of the Potomac for THAT long. When the water cools down they STACK up in certain areas. ;D
