I shot him in point of rocks MD off of ballenger creek road at my uncles farm. They sold it 2 years ago and I miss it every day. My relatives jumped him up out of the power line and they took one long shot and hit him in the leg as you can see. I was standing along the fence line behind a big rolled bail of hay and he ran right by me with in 10 feet and I dropped him in his tracks. A big doe was with him and I got on the radio and told my dad she was on her way right to him and 2 minutes later he got her. Now that the farm is gone I have little to no place to hunt. I am always on the look out and asking farmers but nobody will let you hunt now days.

That sure is a nice deer! Not a monster, but the coat makes up for it!

Post the pics if you can Dave. Piebalds and albinos facinate me as much as big bucks. Will have to find a pic than scan it. Had the typical, short stubby legs and goat head.

I have a pieball 6 pointer in the woods behind my house in Abingdon and saw a pieballed doe laying dead on the side of the road 1/2 mile from my house.
I wish I could get permission to hunt these woods just to get a chance at that 6 pointer! He's not big I just think it would make a great mount!

Yea, it wouldn't take a huge deer for me to get mounted either. Heck, I'd probably get a doe done.

On Sat. morning I swore I saw an albino deer. I was hunting a bottom that runs parrallel to power lines. As the sun was coming up, 6:40 or so, I kept seeing flashes of white and then nothing. This went on for about four minutes. I was standing, gun pointed, looking thru the scope ready to take the safety off. Then I saw my albino deer, it was the tail of a gray fox who was pouncing on mice in the high brush. The white tip of his tail would wave like a flag right before he pounced. I felt like a tool, all these posts of albino and piebalds, I thought I finally was gonna get one. I'll keep looking though.

Interesting story - you were letting your imagination take over your eyes!! I have been on the lookout for one too - every time I see something white I hope, but to no avail yet.

not far from the same property i shot mine from i have seen a piebald fawn playing with some other fawns hoping it turns out to be a buck but well see next year hopefully. If i shoot any pics of it ill have to post them, funny thing is my doe didnt have any fawns with her each time ive seen her so they both must be from the same general herd, father maybe i dont know. Maybe theres a big piebuld buck around somewhere although they are hard to miss

My friend, Ward, got a pieball with his cross bow. His crossbow broke on the shot so he called me in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner to grab my bow and help him find it. He hit it low and near the back end. It only ran 40 yards from where he shot it. It was still alive when I got there and it didn't even run when I walked within 25 yards. I put it down and then drug it back to the car for him. Neither of us had a camera. He told me on the phone that it was a small doe!! To my surprise........
