Im new to this site, don't get on much but figured I would see how shed hunting is going for everyone. I found my 25th shed today, been having good luck this year locating nice sheds. Im not sure how to post pictures on this site yet but if I figure it out I will post a pic of the sheds I have found so far.

My wife COusin has found close to 60 this year.. His biggest advice is putting in the time and walking the miles.. Finds most of his in bedding areas and alond feild edges.. but finds a great deal of them in areas he saw bucks this year while hunting.. If the bucks are there so are they sheds.. Try searching food source areas and I bet you find some.. Good Luck

I have found most of mine along rub lines leading from bedding areas into feeding areas. Many of the sheds I have found when I found 1 I searched the area within a 200-300 yd radius and found other sheds as well. Late season bucks group up obviously and seem to drop antlers not too far apart from one another. I have also had pretty good luck finding sheds along ridge tops on sunny sides where they are bedding. Have found a few also lying on the fringes of thick powerlines where they are crossing. Still looking for a monster set of sheds, biggest I have found so far was the right side of a 14 point but wasn't too big. Good luck let me know if you find any.
