Here's the blind that I made to shoot out of. Threw it together pretty quickly one day last week but it did the trick. The view from out of the blind. The bird came from the old trail in the center of the second picture & took his time getting across the field to my decoys. Then he kicked my jake decoy over when I was drawing my bow back on him.

Don't you just love when a plan comes together. Did you draw on him when he was in strut with his fan facing you or when he was beating on your jake decoy ?

Great bird, especially with the bow. Did he go far after the shot?

Thanks. He went about 70 yards with me running full speed after him. Didn't want to let him get out of sight, but it wouldn't have made a difference either way.
