Me and a buddy went to my dad's old work pond last night and caught 9 bass...the bad thing about it though was we either missed or lost that many more bass, they ranged from 1/2 a pound to 3-4lbs...and were all caught on a pink floating worm rigged wacky style...they tore it up!!!...saw some HUGE gills swimming around but couldnt catch any, so we're going back out next week to see about them, will try for more pictures...

I hear farm ponds are hitting right now with the water levels down. Or neighborhood ponds as I see by the pics.

The ponds are great right now! I've been keeping the one at Dorchester open by breaking the beaver dam and the grass has not over come it all summer!

Me and a buddy stopped counting at 30 at a pond over in Parsonsburg, MD this past weekend. They're all little though (<1lb).

The ponds I am fishing in are not producing. I am using crankbaits, swimbaits, and yamamoto in every color possible. By this time I usually have caught over 100 bass. I may have 12 biggest being 3lbs. What are you all using? I am ready to give it up!!

I was using a chartreuse inline spinner, but also caught on a silver spoon. Usually I use a jig-head with a 2-3" white curly tail grub fished along grass edges.

I used a jig with a blue/black grub on it and floating worms over grass or submerged trees also like using shallow crankbaits that run just above the grass.
