Here's an easy recipe for a "medium" chili. You can get creative with the spices to go less or more with "the heat"!
Start by browning 2 lbs - of ground venison Then mix into 1 can - tomato sauce - 29oz. 1 can - petite diced tomatos - 14oz. 2 cans - kidney beans 40oz. (i do 1 can light and 1 can dark for looks) 1/2 cup - diced onions 2 - small cloves diced garlic 1 tblsp - black pepper 2 tblsp - chili powder (makes a medium spice flavor) Let it simmer till its good and hot, strirring occasionally.
This will make a good family sized pot of chili! Enjoy!

Guy, You know that chick is too old to be hangin with GLB. It does'nt look like she is still in high school so I don't think such a thing will occur.

I made almost the same recipe this weekend but instead of ground venison I used the parts of the tenderloin that weren't big enough for steaks. After cooking a few hours in the crock pot that meat barely had to be chewed.

I'm doing the same thing today, using scrap parts of tenderlion and other steaks. Although I'm using my own recipe. I'll try to remember to write it down so I can post it here. It is never the same twice since I never follow a recipe.
