Okay so where are you guys finding your sheds? Fields, bedding areas, deer trails or what? I just wanted to find out if i should be looking in different areas or not?

I always go to the thickest bedding areas I can find first, walk trails out from them second. If you've got a good feeding area, like the only standing corn left for miles, definitely hit there, too, as every deer around will spend the night there during shedding time.

I walked a pine thicket yesterday for a couple of hours with a friend and didn't find any. As I was leaving I ran into a neighbor and he told me that he had seen two bucks this week that still had both antlers, I thought for sure they would have shed by now. I did find some good areas where the turkeys had be scratching around.

After seeing Osprey's pics from yesterday & hearing others tell me of deer with their antlers, I went out & set up a trail cam on a corn pile, hoping to get a shot of my big buddy with his antlers. Then maybe they'll even drop off in the corn!

that would be cool, get a before and after pic witht he antlers sitting in the corn.. then you would see a fox come in and grab the antler and run off. you would be salty...... ha ha ha

Those roots are awesome, but I'm glad that's in your woods and not mine, spooky. Deerhunter, I've got some mule deer dvd's that have winter range footage on them on big mule deer bucks when the antlers fall off! That's the coolest thing to watch, if you can get that on camera you definitely get a gold star!!

I haven't found any sheds either. But it looks like my trail cam pictures show they should be out there.
