I know they aren't whitetails, but do these count? ;D The skull I found this fall in ND while helping my Dad drag his bowkill out, the elk I found two falls ago along the Little Missouri River bottoms on the ranch we hunt.

I like the elk shed must have been like a small tree laying on the ground

I actually thought it was a branch! We were tracking a bow hit deer after dark, walked over it in the moonlight in the open on the way into the bottoms and stepped over it thinking it was a tree branch, on the way back out with the deer and flashlights I saw what it was.

Cool antlers. I have a few antlers from over the years, I want to try and make a lamp or coffee table or something. Maybe a chandalier? For some reason the thought of drilling holes in the antlers makes me cringe. Even the ones that were given to me and arn't too special. I don't know why I feel that way, like if there made into a lamp, I won't be able to hold them the same anymore. I guess one of my many crazy quirks. How much does that elk antler weigh??
