Finally able to take something with my bow this evening, a small doe at 26 yards. Dropped her right in her tracks! Gotta love those spinal shots! I shoot feathers on my arrows and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as far as how to get them back to shootable shape after they've passed through an animal. I've tried washing them with water almost immediately after shooting it, running my finger over them repeatedly in the opposite direction. Can anyone help? Or is the only solution putting new feathers on? Thanks!

I've shot multiple with the same feathers...Just sort of brush em off & let em go again. Rinse, then go back & forth on it...it will dry, then do it again. Mine have always come back, for the most part.

I would try cleaning with dishwashing soap (palmolive) After it dries boil some water and twirl in the steam . Old trick Fred Bear showed me.......................By the way congratulations on your deer
