I've heard some good things about these, and am yet to hear anything bad. I currently shoot feathers, but am contemplating a switch to blazer vanes. Just trying to see what everyone thinks.

I'll let you know when I get mine done. Only getting 6 switched over to start, so I'll be able to compare easily with the old 4 1/2" vanes.
One group of guys that comes to camp in ND uses them, one of the fellas has an archery shop in Massachusets and really loves them. I'm trying 'em partly because of what he's told and shown me about them.

I SHOOT THEM.. THEY ARE REALLY ACCURATE. WHEN I PUT THEM ON MY ARROWS I HAD TO ADJUST MY SIGHTS BAD.. I WAS SHOOTING ABOUT AT LEAST 6 INCHES HIGH.. I THINK U WOULD REALLY LIKE THEM..

Has anyone shot'em with fixed heads? Just wondering if the arrow planes at all.

I used to be a "feathers only" guy. I didn't like the way vanes got all marked up and old looking after a month or so. BUT I tried out these new Blazer vanes this past year and love them. They shoot great and make my arrows lighter, are very durable and look good!

I didn't realize that they were that small. Those are TINY.

I'm getting mine back tomorrow, going to OC for the weekend and gonna swing by the bow shop and pick up everything and shoot for awhile. Pretty excited, got new cables and strings, a new drop away rest to try and the blazers. Dropped it all off a month ago and haven't been down to get it until now (Been done, but my buddy's shop is between Berlin and Princess Anne, Whitetail Outpost, hour or more from me. He's supposed to have some new DART discs, too, anxious to see and shoot some new videos). Only got 6 blazers to try them and compare with the remaining 4" vanes I've got.

I love Whitetail outpost. That is where I went for all my hunting needs when I lived over there. That guy knows what he is doing and does a great job!!

Joe and Jane are good people, and I don't trust my gear to anybody else. Met Joe when I lived down there, we've done a good bit of hunting together - Illinois one trip for whitetail on public land a few years ago, ducks and sika and whitetail around here. Maybe I'll see you down there this weekend, I'll be hitting his shop mid-day saturday. If you stop in tell him you know a fella that calls him Angel - because he hangs his stands so high you need wings to reach 'em!

Picked up everything yesterday and shot a few rounds, they shoot really good. They did a great job on the bow, too - new cables, strings, NAP dropaway rest. Put it back together so tight that even with a borrowed release and all that new stuff I put the first three arrows in the 10x ring at 20 yards! Just gotta shoot some broadheads and compare flight with the normal 4 1/2" vanes to see just how much difference there is, but I expect good things.

Been shooting them for a few days now, they fly pretty good. Even with broadheads. The only thing that I've seen is that they are about 1/16" taller than the older long vanes I had and they are hitting the cable. Got to get a new cable slider that'll hold the cable back just a bit. They are kicking out just the slightest bit now, but it's not really noticeable until 50 yards +.

I just put Blazer's on some of my arrows, the first three shots you couldn't slide a toothpick between the shafts!!!! So far I like them, A LOT!!! One question though, whats the best way to get the old fletching/vanes and glue off carbon shafts???

Not sure if it is the best way, but I use a dull knife to scrape them. Dull so I don't cut into the arrow - Probably not the best way, but it works.
