I've been shooting a Mathews Outback(60lb.) for 4 years now and have no complaints. Whisker biscuit, HHA front sight, Easton XX75 Camo Hunter arrows in 2018 with 100 gr. 4-blade muzzy. This seams to get the job done.

i shoot a matthews outback with a 27" draw and about 60-65 pounds at 80% let off. i did shoot a PSE nova up until this christmas. i love my matthews way more than the PSE but still both are good bows.

;D Just purchased the new Bowtech Admiral. Wow what a bow, this is by far the best bow i have ever shot. No vibration, hand shock or noise. While at the bow shop i shot both the mathews, hoyt, and limbsaver. And the admiral came out on top and it was a land slide. ;D

My first bow was from K-Mart,it was an Indian hold it one way it was right handed turn it upside down and it was left handed at a cost of 40.00.Hunted for just over 5 weeks and the first arrow found a nice 6 point whitetail HOOKED!!!!!!I now shoot a matthews Q2 by far the best I've ever shot. After that first bow I've had many my first cam bow was a Wart Hog by Martin they sury have come a LONG way. That 40.00 bow has cost me 100,000 over the years LOL.

Mine was a bit more expensive than yours...a $99 "Gander Mountain Special". At least that's what BuckMaster and I called them. We were so excited when they came in the mail. But just like you said, that first bow sure did cost a whole bunch more than the original price! It worked well enough to land me my first 9 pointer and hook me for life!!!
Now I shoot the Q2 as well, and don't plan on changing that until the thing blows up in my hands!

I'll bump this thread to say I just bought my first bow. A PSE Brute lite. Looking forward to practicing with it the next several weeks and get in some bow time this deer season.

I shoot a G5 Torch. As a woman, I do best with something designed for someone with a shorter draw length. This bow works perfectly for me! I love it!
