I might be up for one of the shoots in September.
Anyone else interested? I don't want to be the only one making a fool out of myself!

It's sad that I am probably the only one that can shoot indoors whenever I want yet shoot the least of anyone I know. I SUCK and really need to get into good form before making a public appearance. I may go take a look though.

If you feel you need to do some target time before you come out to shoot 3D it is okay because Southern Maryland Archers has targets set up from a bunny target to 15 yard to 20 yard and up to 80 yard available to the public for you to pratice on. Nothing will get you ready for bow season like 3D shooting will, see you on range I try to make all the 3D shoots and Check out the club on line at www.southernmarylandarchers.com .

I am planning on the Sept 9th shoot. Do you have to shoot boradheads?? I don't want to take a chance on loosing a broadhead right before the season starts

You do not have to shoot broadheads on Sept 9th. They just set that day up so you can shot them if you want to make sure your arrows are flying true with broadheads before the season starts.

At this point I plan on being there at or around 9am. I just got a new dozen arrows and I want to make sure they will be okay with my broadheads. I hope everyone can make it.

I'm going during the day tomorrow to sight in on the public range. My impact pendulum sight allows being a fixed sight when on the ground. It adjusts with a knob to three yardages of your choice. I want to make it a 30, 40, 50 yard fixed pin. I'll spend a little time during my lunch break to sight in.
