Man Fox, that is the way to put some pressure on the guide! Good luck down there, hope you see a nice shaggy stag. Remember to hide your red wagon though.

Think I'll put him in a bad spot where he won't see any deer, then people won't want my guide service and I'll be left alone to HUNT!!
Don't worry Fox. Well, maybe worry just a bit...

DH, like WT sika deer mate throughout the season (hinds come back into heat if not pregnant) so I would say yes that they are still breeding. Last week I must have heard 6 different stags bugling in the area that I hunt. This week, not one. Who knows. I did see 5 on Sat. morning though.

Now I know why Fox is a mojo thief - because he doesn't have any of his own!!!! We had him in what's always been the best spot today at Blackwater, he never saw a deer from stand, although one did bugle close to him very late tonight. Frank of course still has his golden horseshoe, I saw the grass move 40 yards from me, never saw the deer, and of course it walked over to Frank and he shot it, nice spike. My buddy Art killed a doe, I missed a doe running across a field (stupid slug gun, need to shoot it more than once every five years so I know the difference between the safety and breech open lever...). Last I saw of Fox he was headed westward in his truck, cursing under his breath, swearing he was never coming back to the Eastern Shore...

After I shot, all I could think about was poor FOX and what clever comment he would have for me. ;D
I saw a total of 9 today, including a really nice 6 pointer at about 200 yards. Watched him in the muck for about 10 minutes through the binoculars.

I heard 2 different stags bugling tonight. REALLY close to dark though. The 6 point I saw was chasing 2 hinds through the mud at around 2 this afternoon.
GOOD LUCK!
